Information you provide
- Name, email address, phone number, and other contact details.
- Project details such as space type, approximate measurements, goals, budget range, package interest, and preferred delivery method.
- Photos, sketches, measurements, notes, feedback, revision comments, and other project materials you choose to send.
- Messages, support requests, refund or cancellation requests, and other correspondence.

Payment information
- Card payments are processed by Stripe on a secure Stripe-hosted checkout page — reached from a fixed-price package page, or emailed to you after you approve a written quote for custom work. Card details go to Stripe, not to this website.
- We may receive payment status, receipt, refund, billing-contact, and statement-descriptor details from Stripe.
- We do not store full card numbers or card security codes on our website, in our forms, or in our email.
Information collected automatically
- When you browse the site, our hosting and security tools may record basic technical information such as pages viewed, browser type, device type, approximate time of visit, and security-related request data.
- If you allow Analytics, measurement tools may record page views, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, and similar usage data.
- If you allow Performance tools, optional live chat such as tawk.to may process device, browser, page, session, approximate-location, and timestamp information.
- If you allow Marketing, optional advertising or review widgets may process device identifiers and site-activity data. Those tools are off unless you accept Marketing.
Cookie and privacy choices
- We save your cookie choices for this browser, including a random identifier, the policy version, the choice made, the source of the choice, and the general region category used for consent rules.
- The style quiz and quote form may remember answers in your browser during a visit. Clearing browser data removes that temporary memory.
03How we use information
We use personal information to run the site, reply to you, do paid design work, process payments, and meet legal duties. We do not use it to build a resale data product.
- Respond to quote requests and customer communications.
- Scope projects, prepare written quotes, deliver digital design plans and boards, and provide revision rounds.
- Process payments, issue receipts, handle refunds, prevent fraud, and keep accounting records.
- Improve the website, troubleshoot errors, secure our systems, and understand general site performance.
- Provide optional live chat or similar support tools when you allow Performance cookies.
- Send service-related messages about your enquiry, quote, purchase, delivery, revision, refund, or policy updates.

| Cookie choices | To remember and honor your cookie settings and privacy choices. |
| Optional updates | To send only the messages you ask for or that relate to your project. |
05Legal bases for processing
Where privacy law asks for a legal basis, we rely on contract, legal duty, legitimate interests, or consent, depending on the job the data is doing.
| Processing purpose | Legal basis where applicable |
|---|---|
| Answering an enquiry and preparing a requested quote | Steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to genuine enquiries. |
| Providing paid design work, delivery, revisions, and support | Performance of our contract with you. |
| Payment, refunds, accounting, tax, and legal records | Performance of our contract and compliance with legal obligations. |
| Website security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting | Our legitimate interests in protecting the site, customers, and business, balanced against your rights. |

| Optional marketing emails, if introduced | Your consent or another lawful basis permitted in your location. Every marketing message will include a working opt-out. |
06How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the people and tools needed to run the studio, take payment, or comply with the law.
- Cloudflare provides website hosting, DNS, security, and first-party enquiry storage.
- Resend delivers website enquiry notifications, while Migadu receives and forwards email sent to our domain.
- Termly manages cookie choices and scans the site for browser technologies.
- tawk.to provides optional live chat when you allow the Performance category.
- Stripe processes card payments on its hosted payment page and receives the card and billing details needed to complete a payment you choose to make.
- Other trusted services may help with file storage, accounting, customer support, or site security when needed to provide the service.
- Professional advisers such as tax, accounting, insurance, or legal advisers when needed for ordinary business operations.
- Banks, payment networks, courts, government authorities, or dispute-resolution parties when required by law or to prevent fraud.
- A successor organization if Yard Haven is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of business assets.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide any legally required opt-out first.
07Cookies and similar technologies
Necessary tools keep the site working. Performance, Analytics, and Marketing tools load only if you allow them.
Termly stores your cookie choices for this browser so the site can remember them, protect forms, and keep ordinary pages working. Optional categories are described in our Cookie Policy.
You can change Performance, Analytics, and Marketing choices at any time from Cookie Settings in the footer. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

We use reasonable safeguards. Card numbers never belong in our form, email, or chat.

- Card details are entered only on Stripe's hosted payment page. Yard Haven does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
- No online system is completely secure. Do not send card numbers, card security codes, passwords, government identifiers, health information, or other highly sensitive information through the form, email, phone, or live chat.

If you live in a U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may have rights similar to the California rights above, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out of targeted advertising or sale. We do not sell or share personal information, and optional Marketing technologies stay off unless you accept them.
Submit a request through Privacy Choices. We generally respond within 45 days, unless the applicable law allows more time.
13Children's privacy
This site is for adults planning outdoor spaces. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
The website and services are not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA or UK. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy services from Yard Haven. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
14International transfers
We are a U.S. studio. If you write to us from another country, your information is handled in the United States and in the countries where our providers operate.
Yard Haven is formed in Wyoming and operates from West Virginia in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers and their subprocessors operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws.
Where transfer law requires a safeguard, we review the provider's terms and use an available lawful mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another approved safeguard. Contact us if you want more information about the safeguard relevant to your request.
15Automated decisions
A person reviews your project. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
The style quiz suggests a package based on the answers you pick in your browser. That suggestion is advisory only and is not a credit, eligibility, or pricing decision. Quotes, design work, and refunds are reviewed by a person.
16Changes and contact
If our practices change, we update this page. The date at the top is the current version.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here and change the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will give additional notice where it is reasonable to do so, such as a notice on the website or an email if we have your address for that project.
Questions about this Privacy Policy or privacy rights can be sent to hello@outdoorspaceliving.com, +1 (681) 284-1515, or Yard Haven LLC, 105 Simmons St, Bramwell, WV 24715, USA.
