01Acceptance of these terms

By using the site, requesting a quote, approving a quote, paying an invoice, or using our deliverables, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the website or purchase services. If you use the services for another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy services from Yard Haven.

02What Yard Haven provides

Yard Haven provides online design guidance and digital planning deliverables for outdoor spaces.

Yard Haven provides remote outdoor-living design guidance for patios, gardens, yards, courtyards, decks, and similar spaces. Deliverables may include scaled layout plans, planting and material recommendation boards, shopping-reference lists, styling notes, and video or email guidance if included in your quote. Our services are advisory, creative, and digital.

03What Yard Haven does not provide

We create the plan. We do not build the project or buy materials for you.

• We do not perform construction, landscaping, installation, demolition, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, grading, drainage, tree, or structural work.
• We do not buy, supply, deliver, store, or guarantee materials, plants, furnishings, contractors, installers, prices, availability, or plant survival.
• We do not provide architectural, engineering, surveying, legal, tax, insurance, permit, or safety-inspection services.
• Before work begins, you are responsible for checking local rules, permits, measurements, drainage, utilities, property lines, HOA rules, and contractor qualifications.

04Quotes, orders, and payment

A quote request is not an order. Work begins only after you accept a written quote and complete any required payment.

• Prices shown on the website are for design guidance and digital deliverables only and may change before quote acceptance.
• A project is not booked until Yard Haven issues a written quote, you accept it, and the required payment is received.
• This website does not currently offer online card checkout. Any payment method is stated in your written quote; the planned future card option is the full-page Stripe-hosted flow described on our Trust & Security page.
• Yard Haven does not store full card numbers or card security codes, and you must not send them through the website form, email, phone messages, or live chat.
• You are responsible for applicable taxes, payment-provider fees disclosed at checkout or invoicing, and accurate billing information.
• Your statement or receipt may show Yard Haven LLC, Yard Haven, outdoorspaceliving.com, or a similar Yard Haven name.

05Your project responsibilities

Good digital design depends on accurate information from you and local review before anyone builds.

• Provide accurate photos, measurements, site conditions, goals, constraints, and feedback.
• Tell us about must-keep items, hazards, utility locations you know about, drainage concerns, pets, children, accessibility needs, and budget limits.
• Review deliverables promptly and request revisions within the revision window stated in your quote.
• Before buying materials or starting work, verify dimensions, site conditions, utility locations, property boundaries, permits, codes, HOA restrictions, and contractor qualifications.

06Delivery and revisions

Deliverables are digital. Revision rounds and estimated timelines are set in your written quote.

We deliver files by email, secure link, or another agreed digital method. Delivery windows are estimates and depend on your timely information, decisions, and feedback. Included revisions must stay within the original project scope. Extra revisions, added areas, or a major change in direction may require a new quote or add-on fee.

07Cancellations and refunds

Because the work is custom and digital, refund rights depend on whether work has started and whether deliverables have been sent.

Our Refund, Cancellation & Delivery Policy explains cancellations, digital delivery, revision handling, and refund eligibility. That policy is incorporated into these Terms.

08Intellectual property and permitted use

You may use paid deliverables for your own property. You may not resell or reuse them for other properties.

Yard Haven owns its website, branding, working files, design methods, and reusable design materials. After full payment, you may use the final deliverables for your own property and project. You may not resell them, publish them as your own, reuse them for another property, or use them commercially without written permission.

09Third-party products, contractors, and links

Any products, plants, stores, installers, or inspiration sources are outside Yard Haven's control.

Plant, material, furnishing, nursery, retailer, contractor, and installer references are recommendations or examples only. Availability, pricing, quality, warranties, and results are controlled by others or by local conditions. Yard Haven is not responsible for third-party sites, products, services, delays, substitutions, defects, or work quality.

10Acceptable use of the site

Use the website lawfully and do not interfere with its security or operation.

• Do not use the site or services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, or infringing activity.
• Do not try to break into the site, interfere with it, copy it at high volume, or bypass security.
• Do not submit content that you do not have the right to share, including copyrighted photos or plans without permission.

11Privacy, cookies, and communications

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal information and site cookies.

By using the website or services, you acknowledge our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Service-related emails are necessary for quote requests, project delivery, payment, refund, revision, and support communications. Optional marketing emails, if offered, will include an unsubscribe method.

12Disclaimers

Our work is design guidance based on the information available. We cannot guarantee build outcomes or third-party performance.

The website and services are provided as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Yard Haven does not make promises about uninterrupted site access, construction results, code approval, product availability, product pricing, plant survival, contractor performance, or suitability for every site condition.

13Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the fees you paid Yard Haven for the affected service, where the law allows.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yard Haven is not liable for construction costs, installation costs, third-party charges, contractor or supplier actions, lost profits, lost materials, or property damage from work performed by you or others. Yard Haven's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Yard Haven for the service connected to the claim.

14Your responsibility for claims

If a claim is caused by your misuse of the site, inaccurate information, or project implementation, you are responsible for the resulting costs where allowed by law.

If Yard Haven faces a claim because you broke these Terms, misused the site or deliverables, gave inaccurate project information, implemented a project unsafely, or violated someone else's rights, you agree to cover the related losses and reasonable costs to the extent allowed by law.

15Disputes and governing law

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve concerns informally.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, USA. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to give the other written notice and at least 30 days to try to resolve the issue informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved, courts located in West Virginia will have jurisdiction unless applicable consumer law requires another forum.

16Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the website or services change. The current version is posted here.
